Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP) is the largest electric power company which generates approximately 32.76%(Dec. 31, 2024 / The Monthly Report on Major Electric Power Statistics) of the total electric power generated in Korea with the noble sense of mission and pride of ‘supplying electric power in a stable manner to enrich the lives of people and to contribute to the growth of the national economy’ as its driving force.

Nuclear power plants are divided into currently operating power plants, under construction power plants, and power plants that are stationary and permanently stationary. - Please refer to the following table.

This table shows the national status of solar, wind, hydropower, small hydropower, pumping, nuclear power generation, power plant name and operation status, Gyeonggi-do, Jeolla-do, Gyeongsang-do, Chungcheong-do, and Gangwon-do.
Area	Name, number of power plants, and operation status.
Gyeonggi-do	During the operation of a total of 5 places, including solar power, Cheongpyeong water, Cheongpyeong water, Topyeong water, and Paldang water.
Jeolla-do	Hanbit Solar Park, Boseonggang Mineral Power and Solar Power, Muju Mineral Power, Muju Amniotic Water, Chilbo Power, 5 places in total, and Hanbit Nuclear Power Unit 6 in operation.
Gyeongsang-do	There are a total of nine places: Yecheon Yaknyeon, Yecheon Mineral Spring, Yecheon Yangsu, Cheongsong Yangsu, Sancheong Yangsu, Samrangjin Yangsu, solar power generation, Gori wind power, and Gori solar power generation. Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1-6, Wolseong Unit 2-4, Gori Unit 2-4, Shingori Unit 1-2, Saeul Unit 3-6, and Shinhanul Unit 1-2 are under construction, Wolseong Unit 1 is stationary and Gori Unit 1 is permanently stationary.
